There are a few new features and some usability changes in this release. LockCrypt can now automatically re-lock after a set interval, and accounts and types can be imported/exported separately.

• Added: AutoLock after inactivity.
• Added: Option to import/export only accounts or types (Thanks Danyar).
• Added: Wildcard URLs for website accounts (Thanks Agent009).
• Changed: AutoType is now available from the context menus as well.
• Changed: Hidden fields used for the Firefox extension can now be edited (Thanks Agent009).
• Changed: Field names on the edit field for are now shown in a scrollpane.

LockCrypt 2.10 adds dynamic fields to AutoType, as well as an option to insert delays when sending keypresses. The options dialog has also been redesigned.

The translations for the Firefox extension have also been updated.

• Changed:The AutoType tools menu can now be accessed by clicking on the main button as well as the dropdown.

New versions of LockCrypt and LockCrypt WM are available. AutoType is a new feature which lets LockCrypt automatically type into other applications. It's only available on Windows and you'll need the .NET Framework to use it.

There are two functions, Insert Delay and Insert Field which appear in the AutoType dialog but have not yet been implemented, they'll be added in version 2.10. For now, AutoType can send any preset combination of keystrokes and mouseclicks (which you can record from the program).

• Fixed: Language list bug which caused some languages with unicode names to only be displayed properly after the language was selected.
• Fixed: Bug which caused accounts not to be updated after they were edited until the account was re-selected.

• Fixed: Hidden fields are no longer shown.

Just one bug fix and an updated German translation in this version. Thanks Florian for helping with that, and also for translating the Firefox Extension page at Mozilla into German.

The password generator has been redesigned and LockCrypt now provides an analysis of the strength of passwords. There are also several bug fixes included with this release.

• Added: Password strength meter when a field is set as a password.
• Added: Generate button next to fields marked as passwords to launch the password generator.
• Added: Password generator button to the main toolbar.
• Fixed: Database mode bug on setup wizard (Thanks prk59).
• Fixed: Duplicate account bug when importing (Thanks Takitsim).

Since the first version of the Firefox extension was released at the start of the week, a lot has been added. To upgrade, you'll also need LockCrypt 1.82. You shouldn't need to export your database first, but you might want to just in case.

Changes in LockCrypt Firefox Extension 1.1

• Added status bar icon to allow quick access.
• Added options when filling to exclude none-empty fields.
• Added checkbox to only apply an account to the current site when saving.
• Added button when saving allowing editing of fields to be saved.
• Added UTF8 support.
• Added timeout preference to change the amount of time the extension will wait for a reply from LockCrypt's Java application before assuming it's not running and just submitting the form.
• Added translations for Bulgarian, Czech, Spanish, Hebrew, Hungarian, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Slovenian and Taiwanese. • Added links to the documentation to the options window.
• When saving a form, all non-empty fields will now be saved by default. This can be changed by clicking the options button when saving.
• If no response is received after the timeout, a prompt will now be displayed to submit the form anyway.
• Autofill enabled by default.
• URLs are now only classified as matching if the current url begins with the URL stored in LockCrypt.
• Moved Tools->Fill from LockCrypt higher up the menu.

Changes in LockCrypt 1.82

• Added Chinese Simplified and Chinese Traditional translations (Thanks Eric Pao).

LockCrypt now integrates directly with Firefox to automatically save and fill forms.

There have also been updates to LockCrypt and LockCrypt for Windows Mobile, so if you're upgrading you'll need to export to XML, then choose Tools->Clear Preferences. When you restart, follow the wizard and import your backup.

Only minor bug fixes in this version, no need to export your database first.

• Fixed: Bug which caused the cancel button to act as a save button when adding an account (Thanks OaklandR).
• Fixed: If a new account was added, then the type was set as Blank and no notes were entered, LockCrypt would fail to read the account when the database was reloaded. This has been fixed.

An editor on Softpedia has awarded LockCrypt a rating of Excellent in a 1000+ word review. Thanks Olivian Puha for taking the time to review it. The forums are still available for feature requests - if anyone can think of something they'd like added, post and let me know!

After one user reported that a password policy required that the 2nd, 3rd and 4th digits of his password had to be digits, I've made some improvements to the password generator to make generation according to a specific format possible.

• Added: Format specification to password generator.
• Changed: Dialogs now shown centered to the main window when opened.

Update - 8th Aug 2008: Piotr volunteered to update the Polish translation just after I released this, so version 1.71 is identical, but includes an updates Polish translation.
